Product Introduction
The Expanded Perlite Insulation for horticulture is large granules of 3-5mm or 4-8mm. Its particle enables better porous performance by its honeycomb structure inside. This horticultural perlite has many friendly qualities, non-toxic, inert, odourless, nonflammable, resistant to acid and alkali. It can be used in horticultural growing mixes, like in fertilizer, and can work as a rooting medium in hydroponic growing, also it can be used alone as soilless cultivation substrate or mixed with peat, vermiculite.
Features:
1. The weight of saturated water absorption is 450-600kgm3 (general soil is about 1800kgm3), which solves the load problem of building structure.
2. The permeability coefficient is 200mmhr, effectively avoiding the harm of sedimentation.
3, The moisture content is up to 45%, ensuring rainwater intercepted.
4, 100% pure inorganic cultivation substrate, physical and chemical indicators are stable, achieving long-term cultivation of plants without soil change.
5. The porosity of its structure promotes the growth of virtual roots of plants, yet has no excellent fixing effect on trees.
6, Safe and odourless clean, simple construction, convenient maintenance-easy to drain and ventilate.
7. Chemical stable perlite PH7.5~7.0, cannot be directly absorbed by plant roots, and suitable for growing acidic southern flowers.
